Our current MDSCA President (Eve) and Vice-President (Taryn) will be traveling to Scotland together with their husbands at the end of this month. The trip is just for fun, and self-funded, but they’ll be spending a few days of it “working” in Forres!
Ben (brewer and owner of Eden Abbey Brewing in Mount Dora will spend a day working at Speyside Brewery in Forres.
David (local run club leader and business owner) will be running with the Forres Harriers, and making connections with local business owners.
Taryn (a known author) will be speaking in the Forres primary schools and helping to virtually connect elementary-aged children.
Eve is facilitating various meetings and gatherings, including CROSS-POND CONNECTIONS, to help a number of Forres businesses, individuals and organizations learn more about the twinning relationship and discover ways that they can connect!
